East Coast sell off is a disgrace. We need more public ownership, not less ideologically driven profiteering.

Inflation-busting fare increases year on year with nothing to show must stop. We are lining the pockets of shareholders with no net gain to ourselves.

I actually use the train more in Holland than the UK. It is terrible to think that the Dutch trains are so efficient because they are subsidised by their running UK trains.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
