Tim Gunnery, CongletonA publicly owned railway is cheaper to run for the taxpayers than the private franchises. Incorporating the freight companies into Network Rail will benefit even more.
Ann Brown, LincolnBritish Rail was far better than any other rail company. I started work for them. Regional Railways again was a good company and then things started getting worse.
