Ian Halsall, BathI wouldn’t go back to the old British Rail, but East Coast demonstrates how a not-for-profit company can still deliver good service and value for taxpayers.
John Brown, LondonYes, bring back national rail. It was ours in the first place. What right did they have to sell it off? They didn’t ask me.
Verity Dams, SwindonAs an actor I have to travel all over the place. I am just starting out, but I can’t afford to go to many an audition because of the crazy cost of train travel.
Dave Devaney, LiverpoolPlease re-nationalise our railway lines.
Relsov Obshtestven, Sofia, BulgariaWe support you 100%. In Bulgaria government wants to sell our railways too and systematically to ruin our Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ).

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
