On leaving school in 1957 I worked for British Rail for 14 years. Whilst it wasn’t perfect, it was affordable for working people. It was privatised and everyone knows the rest.
Why does anyone support profits for individuals rather than the good of all?
I am sick and tired of having to suffer from the figures of rail infrastructure break-up and privatisation. Pricing is ludicrously complicated and over-expensive.
Year on year out we get fleeced. Enough is enough.
Re-nationalisation but make sure that those in charge are qualified to be there and honest. I wish I had known about the protest earlier as I would definitely have been there.

Has the government's decarbonisation policy hit fever point?
Privatizing has buggered up the electricity industry, the gas industry, the water industry and the waste disposal industry too. Some things should be considered a service and run to provide just that at an economic cost not a way of milking the end users.
