I do believe it is a disgrace that the British railways are segregated and have the unusual rip-off fares.
Chris Hoy, LeedsIt’s about re-nationalised British Rail. Run transport services for the people who use them, not the directors.
Saneet Bhella, LeedsI pay for a cheaper train even though it stops at a further station than the place I need to go to. Logic.
James Hobbs, BristolThe prices of rail travel in this country are disgusting and something has to be done about it. Cheaper rail prices would mean fewer people driving cars which means a greener country.
Tim Larkin, Grange Over SandsBR was far superior to the current system of a plethora of companies, with different pricing schemes. It’s difficult to know where you stand.
Robert Nix, LeominsterThe return of British Rail would give the nation fairness and a national transport network.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
