I would very much enjoy seeing the railways re-nationalised and I think it would be highly beneficial for the country.

Robert Baker, GlossopI commute from the Peak District to Manchester every day and the state of the railways is poor. The publicly-run East Coast line proves that nationalisation works.
Roger Calvert, NorthallertonI notice how much profit East Coast Lines has made which has not made the slightest impact on Government thinking because privatisation is purely ideological.
Leonora Rozee, StroudAn efficient and effective public transport system for the benefit of the public and the nation as a whole. Is that too much to ask?
Thomas Gray, ExeterIt’s about time that the most efficient railway in Europe came back and put an end to the privatisation chaos.
Z Sullivan, LondonLet’s leave the EU, then we won’t have to comply with their privatisation directives!

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
