Robin Carmichael, LeedsSurely it is common sense for some of our transport system to be publicly owned.
Jacquie Ludlow, CheshamI am sick of the government feeling they can do what they like to our country. What happened to freedom of speech? We are not listened to any more.
Phillip Challinor, WarringtonPlease re-nationalise our national rail. Privatisation has been a shambles and our rail system is an embarrassment, despite the contrary claims of the rail companies.
Tess Farley, YorkIt costs me at least £150 to go home to Devon from York, and often I can’t get a seat and have nowhere safe to store my luggage.
Terry Bennett, BirminghamPrivatising Britain’s railways was wrong. Train operating companies are interested in the shareholders and not the travelling public.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
