The current service is unreliable, overcrowded, over-priced, dirty and overly complex. Public transport is an essential public service. Bring back British Rail.
Please let us end the fat cats railway.
Why should we continue to put up with over inflation prices with profits going to the rich rather than being invested in providing a better train service.
The railway industry is costing far more to run privatised than ever it did under British Rail.
Standing up from London to Manchester on an overcrowded train is one thing. But to pay upwards of £87 for the journey is criminal.
