We need a British state-wide, publicly owned railway and for the sake of old times lets keep it as British Rail.
We need a railway of the people, by the people, for the people – owned by the people, not a cash cow for capitalists.
If the rail industry is ‘private’ why then do the train operating companies take their profits whilst the taxpayer is still contributing considerably to the rail network.
A six mile journey on my rural Yorkshire line costs £5.80 for a single (Greenfield to Marsden) and the service is only one train per hour. BBBR!

The buses and trains need to be put back in public hands we at the moment subsidies them ever since the Tories sold them of so how can you tell me that they are private companys

Privatizing has buggered up the electricity industry, the gas industry, the water industry and the waste disposal industry too. Some things should be considered a service and run to provide just that at an economic cost not a way of milking the end users.
