Anita Mannion, St AlbansI absolutely agree we should re-nationalise our railways.
Mary Andrews, PortsmouthTo travel by rail is too expensive. Some corporation is getting richer off the backs of people who need to travel by rail. It has got to stop and the railways given back.
Nicky Cullum, LeedsLiving the nightmare of TransPennine Express – Bring back British Rail.
William A Edmundson, Atlanta, USATransportation is a public good that must not be a source for private rents. It’s silly to privatise the road system, equally so rail.
Oscar Wallace, LiverpoolThe current situation is nonsensical except to those private profiteers who are running the railways at a sub-par standard. Bring back British Rail.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
