Let’s stop this insanity and vanity and get real.
Roger Bowerman, LondonThe railways should be for the people and run by the people.
Karen Blakeley, ManchesterLet’s bring back the golden days of British Rail.
Connor Gray, FarehamThe idea of running a key transport service for profit with no real competition has seen prices rise and no improvement in service. This is pricing out many people.
Paul Unwin, DerbyIt would be nice not to have to travel through 2 other counties on 3 different trains to get to another Station in the same county. Bring back the Matlock to Buxton line.
Lesley Parkhouse, BathWe are being put to shame by other countries’ rail networks. What happened to the great British Railways? Bring them Back!

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
