Nik Allday, BostonWe must get rid of this totalitarian neo-liberal philosophy. Railways are a social necessity and cannot successfully be ‘owned’ by private individuals for profit.
Risa Duff, BuryIt has deteriorated so much and, in order to get a decently priced ticket, you have to book three months in advance and sometimes that is not possible to do.
Karen Rowell, SheffieldWe need the railways at reasonable prices to travel for the jobs.
Monique Van Beek, CambridgeAn absolute disgrace – the expense, the bad service, the delays, the uncertainty. I say, nationalise the lot. It can’t possibly get any worse.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
