Privatisation is the Robin Hood principle in reverse.
Philip Lowe, WoolerEast Coast Rail proved the advantage of a nationalised service; before it was gifted to Branson to milk.
Jane Marsh, YorkMake our railways cheaper and more convenient for everyone, not run by a private company only interested in lining shareholders’ and fat cats’ pockets.
Jane Atchison, BristolI hate the ‘cheap’ advance fare system that enables train operators to dodge the real issue of extortionate fares when questioned about rises. Fares should be per mile.
Cecil Richardson, NottinghamPrivatisation benefits nobody except the fat cat bosses.
John Morgan, FlitwickA very good campaign – all the best with your efforts.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
