Tracey AllenThey should never have been de-nationalised. It was nationalised because it didn’t work as a mish-mash of companies.
Joan Keating-Majorel, DarlingtonThe present system is too disjointed and far too expensive for passengers.
Park Chang Sik, Daejon, South KoreaBring back British Rail. The awesome railroad.
Angela Holland, ManchesterIt is time to re-nationalise British Rail. If it is considered a potentially profitable service, shouldn’t the country have the benefit?

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
