Kate Doyle, CambridgeIt would be nice to get a service that worked. Train travel is brilliant. When you pay for a seat you should get one. It should be run for people not profit.
Shane Pym, BroadwindsorWe should all support this campaign for affordable, not for profit transport for the masses.
Tereena Costard, SloughI’ve been using East Coast trains for the last year and a half. I would hate to see this change.
Julie Gossage, High WycombeRegular peak time cancellations, short formations leading to dangerous overcrowding, increased fares. It’s totally unacceptable!
Crispin Howell-Jones, RomfordThe effect of privatising the railways has been that we pay vastly more than we need for our tickets and vastly more to subsidise the companies as well.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
