Steve Dalton, BarnsleyAs a person who prefers good service for customers over meaningless profits for shareholders, I’d be happy to see a return to rail travel being publicly owned again.
Daren Scott, WorcestershireI’m not convinced the British people ever deserved to have it stolen from them in the first place.
Mary Rowntree, DurhamTrain services should be in our own hands and any profits could be ploughed back in for improvements and maintenance, not given to foreign countries.
Lindsey March, Kings LangleyIn Italy. 9 euros gives me 5 hours of clean, modern, punctual rail travel. It is essential that we give people an affordable alternative to car travel to save the planet.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
