Adam Scadding, StowmarketThe government funds all of the infrastructure and new stock. Little comes from the private companies themselves. Therefore it will take little effort to go the whole way.
Roberto King, ChesterYou should try organising a strike with all of the rail workers.
Steve Soar, BirkenheadRail fares are massively overpriced because the primary concern is to pay more and more dividends to shareholders and executives.
Kevin Jordan, CoalvilleI’m badly in need of a railway from Leicester to Burton. This can help us. Keep up the good work.
Liz Gray, GorebridgePrivatisation of British Rail was always a retrograde step as far as the service to passengers is concerned. Hopefully, an independent Scotland will nationalise ScotRail.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
