Brexit finally allows us to take back control over our nation’s railways. Brexiteers want a great British Railway back.
Heather Langford, ReadingAfter years using a sub-par service including delays, cancellations, lack of seating, overcrowding and more I want to see our railways run for the public not private profit.
Sandra Jervis, WakefieldPrivatisation was the worst thing that happened to the railways. We are pouring money into private companies’ pockets.
John Lean, MaidstoneIt is long past the time for our rail network to be returned back to public ownership and to providing reliable, quality service and not just profit.
Gerard Brady, MotherwellAs a frequent rail traveller throughout the UK, I’m in favour of re-nationalising British Rail. Fares are too expensive and the fare structure too complicated.
Annaliese Scott, LeicesterIt’s about time something changed as ticket fares are unbelievably high.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
