Bring back British Rail.
Andrew Mackie, DundeeI currently can’t buy a house because the train fare for my wife to attend university is too high, over 3 grand a year. That’s more than 12% of my yearly income.
Verity Berrie, KentIt didn’t work.
Kris Douglas, Stoke-on-TrentThis needs to happen sooner rather than later. Current Train Operating Companies are draining the government and the passengers.
Duncan Harris, Melton MowbrayPrivatisation has been an unmitigated disaster.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
