Raymond Curtis, NottinghamRailways, Gas, Electricity, Water and Post Office should never have been privatised. They are too essential to be left to the vagaries of the market.
Ethan Radford, NottinghamConsidering the public already subsidises the rail network 3-4 billion a year, yet fares continue to rise. The entire rail network should be standardised to public good.
Mark Halden, St AlbansRegular commuters need a break. Rail fares are overpriced, the most expensive in Europe. Rolling stock is old. Not enough space on trains. Bring back British Rail.
Stephen Bellamy, IngatestoneI totally agree with re-uniting the national rail network.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
