It is high time.
Iain Macaskill, SuffolkMy train is late every day. The Sunday service is a bus. My ticket is never checked and the contempt for passengers from National Express is vivid.
Richard Mandridge, PetersfieldBring back British Rail. What a nonsense that money which should be ploughed back into a better rail service is used to line the pockets of shareholders.
Peter Hencher-Serafin, StudleyWe did not have a say in selling it off and the way it was done cost the taxpayers a huge amount of money.
Liaqat Ali, SloughPrivatisation has only put profits first. They are mismanaging and not considering passenger needs and safety issues.
Martyn Bissett, StirlingTaking the train between Scotland and London has just become unaffordable for me.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
