Kath Lockhart, SedberghPublic transport has no place for spivs. It is a basic human right.
Penelope McKee, EdinburghThe present set-up is crazy and only serves the shareholders. Get Green, get cars off the road and encourage train use.
Paul Weekes, Gillingham, KentWe need to manufacture our own rolling stock as well and bring some design and engineering back, and not support foreign train builders.
Alex Smith, BoltonThere has been chronic under-investment in the railways which has led to most tracks and stations being in a poor state. This combined with the lack of carriages is woeful.
Yvonne Weaver, DagenhamWhy doesn’t the government learn by their mistakes? Outsourcing does not always work. It’s all about the shareholders wanting big payouts. It’s time to say no more.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
