Avril Coleman, SiddingtonSince British Rail disappeared we’ve had more trouble on rail – lines are not kept to the same high standard, and why is public money being used to prop it up?
Dean Chapman, BristolJust look at the fantastic work and profits made by East Coast Trains. If they can do it why can’t the whole network?
Adam Haslam, SilsdenI spend over £1000 every year yet I get a seat only now and again. This is not acceptable. And the prices keep going up and the service gets worse. Zero logic.
William Ellerby, Newcastle-upon-TyneOne organisation would give scope for greater efficiency and savings in costs.
Dennis Warwick, Burley-in-WharfedaleI am a former porter on BR in 1949-50. I would like the railways back in public ownership.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
