Anna Dovey, LiphookThis was a disastrous decision and we want it reversed. I want a decent, reliable, affordable public transport system that’s run as a ser vice, not for private profit.
Andrew Rowntree, PeterboroughWe would have less need to use the road network if rail fares were cheaper.
Cathi Francis, BromleyJoined up systems please. We need the UK to function effectively and think long term.
Chris Venables, SheffieldI want the railways to be publicly run for the public good and to cut down on private car and lorry usage.
Ian Johnson, SelbyWe must make sure that it is a new British Rail with the right people running it, not like the people we had before.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
