Bring it back.
Sue Richmond, SheffieldI just love our trains, so save them.
Stephen Bamber, BarnsleyI’m a regular traveller faced with excessive price rises and busier trains. It’s another botched privatisation to join the rest. They just love making the rich richer.
Edith Glatter, Hemel HempsteadOur station is a disgrace, quite third world, and the trains are slower than they were in British Rail days. Also the cheap rate is almost impossible to use.
Sophie Bishop, BrightonThe current service is unreliable, overcrowded, over-priced, dirty and overly complex. Public transport is an essential public service. Bring back British Rail.
David Harney, BromleyTrains are too expensive. The railway is needed by everyone so should be kept cheap and not run as a private profit-making business.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
