Let’s get people back on trains.
Gary Dickson, SheffieldHow could anyone possibly have thought privatisation was a good idea?
Sue Ahrens, WatfordIt’s clearly sensible.
Ray Dawes, YorkSurely profit would be better in the government’s bank account to keep the money in the UK.
Alison Gibney, St AlbansWe need continuous long-term investment in our rail services and the only way to achieve that is through public ownership.
Kenneth Stirland, MiddlesbroughIf the rail service was re-nationalised it would be more reliable and cheaper, because it would not be running for private profit. I for one would use it again.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
