CrossCountry is a shocking service.
Simon Dutton, BirminghamPrivatisation has been a colossal failure, with poor service and constant fare rises, going into private pockets.
Peter Cranmer, DoncasterPrivatisation was a bad idea from the beginning. To attempt to break up a national service and maintain this integration was stupid, ill thought-out and inept.
Dave Murray, Newcastle-upon-TyneIt should never have been privatised in the first place.
Terry Macavoy, HalsteadBring the railways back into public ownership as it is for the public use, not for making huge profits.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
