Campaign against Arriva Rail London

Since November 2016, the London Overground network has been operated by Arriva Rail London, a subsidiary of Arriva UK Trains, which itself is a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn, Germany’s national state-owned rail operator. Franchising of London Overground services is the responsibility of Transport for London (TfL), which opted to let the franchise as a management contract, TfL retaining the revenue risk. The current concession is due to end in May 2024. Arriva also operates the Chiltern Railways and CrossCountry franchises.

• Do you use the London Overground service regularly?
• Do you believe it should be returned to public hands as part of a re-unified national rail network run for people not profit?
• Then, why not start a campaign building up to the franchise end?

Bring Back British Rail will support you by promoting your campaign’s details on this website and putting you in touch with other local activists via our Facebook, Twitter and Riseup communities. Please get in touch on the email address below!
