I am a Londoner, and one of the reasons why I left for the South Coast was because of the disgrace that is public transport. I support re-nationalisation fully.
I’m fed up with prices, service and awful names and symbols.
Ownership of the railways should never have been taken away from the people to line the pockets of state-funded fat cats.
There are good franchises and bad franchises, the system is geared up to being hit-and-miss and that’s the problem.
Get on any train with any ticket would be wonderful. l don’t care if the coffee wasn’t good.

Privatizing has buggered up the electricity industry, the gas industry, the water industry and the waste disposal industry too. Some things should be considered a service and run to provide just that at an economic cost not a way of milking the end users.
