A fine campaign, but sadly facing an uphill struggle against politicians who cannot see what is obvious to everyone else.

Martin Putt, South PethertonI back nationalised rail services as I am a passenger who has experienced high ticket prices, uncomfortable seating and delays many times.
Micheal McClelland, LondonI’ve never felt safe on the railways since privatisation.
Patrick Spain, Milton KeynesYes to re-nationalisation, but I do think they should be run for profit, with profits used for re-vamping our railway lines and stations, future and for re-opening lines.
Stephen Cullen, PrescotRailways not for private profit.
Male Byrne, SouthamptonI fully agree with bring back British Rail. It was the worst thing the government has ever done, like the rest of public utilities.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
