Greater Anglia serves my region and anyone who uses the service will wonder why it has barely changed for the last 50 years.

Trevor Burr, BirminghamThere’s no reason why it can’t be done. Just don’t re-franchise when the current ones come to an end. But government is in hoc to international capital and Brussels.
Nick Anderson, Tunbridge WellsTravel should not be private. Privatisation does not work for all. Rail first then Air.
Gerry McCartney, JohnstoneI’m keen to be involved in local transport campaigns. Please put me in touch with local union and other campaigners.
Carol Jardine, EdinburghTravel by rail has now become too expensive for many people on lower incomes. We now look enviously at other countries’ rail systems that appear to serve the people.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
