It’s been too long now. Come on. Bring British Rail back.
Garry Carpenter, WokingLet the train take the strain.
Michael Burrows, SwanseaAll privatisation is robbery, making people pay twice for the service. Otherwise fares would get cheaper and they don’t.
Graham Thorburn, Milton KeynesRe-nationalise all public utilities.
Beverley Wickenden, MarchPlease bring back British Rail – a decent, reliable rail service that the British public will be proud to use once more.
Imrul Hossain, WatfordWe should never have sold our public transport to the private sector. It was the worst idea by any government. Be smart and bring it back.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
