Jane Lennie, ShepshedI never understood why taxpayers pay private rail operators to take passengers’ money, with no gain to the taxpayer.
David Bassett, AylesburyScrap HS2 and re-invest in the East- West Oxford to Cambridge Line. Re-open the inland route from Plymouth via Tavistock to overcome future flooding at Dawlish etc.
Peter Farrell, Tunbridge WellsThey’re not just privatising everything they can get their hands on. They’re closing all former nationalised industries. A socialist programme of action is the only answer.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
