Michael Coleman, RedditchLet us take it back. It and all the other state companies and the NHS do not belong to a sick bunch of half-wit profiteering politicos to sell off as they wish.
Christine Hood, St AlbansIf East Coast can run efficiently and effectively then so should the whole network without ‘middle people’ – including shareholders – taking the profit out of it all.
Eileen Magnello, LondonPrivatisation is a pernicious and undemocratic system for the vast majority of people who use the services.
Steve Linter, CanterburyWe may have newer trains with WiFi, aircon etc., but overall we pay dearly for a worse service. Nearly £70 for a peak day Travelcard from Canterbury to London!

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
