Henry Winterbourne, High WycombeYes, bring back BR – much better days.
Pauline StephensThe railway system is more expensive now, both in fares and operating costs.
Jon Waring, YorkI don’t want to bring back the British Rail as was – but a modern British Rail which puts quality, safety and comfort first, not profit. The current system is crap.
Ryan Lennon, ManchesterNorthern Rail is a terrible institution that needs to have any rights to make money from the railways revoked.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
