Graham WalkerFuel duty for motorists frozen for the last seven years. Rail fares have risen in line with inflation. With little or no increase in wages. Bring back British Rail.

Robin Mallinson, HatfieldTrains are necessary infrastructure for the good of the nation so should not be left in the hands of those who would bleed them dry to maximise profit.
Dominic Martin, LechladeI can’t believe that only the Green Party supported re-nationalisation. Why won’t Labour?

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
