One railway publicly owned.
Stephen Cresswell, LiverpoolRe-nationalisation is well overdue because privatisation is not in the travellers’ interest.
Richard Apperley, Newcastle-upon-TyneI need an easy-to-use rail system where I can be confident that the ticket I buy will let me on any train going to my chosen destination.
John Conley, RosythCrap service from the mainline companies except from East Coast. I wonder why.
Jill Vogler, LeedsI would very much support Caroline Lucas MP’s private member’s bill for each part of the railway to be brought back into public ownership as its franchise expires.
Clare Holdstock, LondonNo privatisation.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
