If it’s running well and at a profit why oh why privatise it again?
The railways, along with the utilities, should be for the benefit of all and not for profit for the privileged.
Certain things should not be de-nationalised and BR was definitely one. The East Coast line has been in public hands for a while now and it’s bloody great.
Oh yes please, let’s return to the sanity of a nationalised rail system.
Bring back British Rail, so the profits go back into the system, and not into somebody’s pocket. We had a great service from Norwich to London Liverpool St. before.
