If we are trying to live a greener life and one that is not too costly then why are we privatising?

Stephen Hannahs, DurhamIn a civilised nation some infrastructure services should be paid for from the public purse. It’s not about profit for private companies.
Daniel Moorcroft, BoltonPublic transport must be taken back into public hands. We are paying above and beyond for a poor service. The service is heavily subsidised with high ticket charges.
Alex Widdowson, BramptonConsidering the current privatised railway has a large subsidy, it doesn’t seem fair that it is run for profit, therefore I think it should be re-nationalised.
