Ramona Andrews, LondonHow can anyone who uses public transport be against nationalising the railways?!
Oscar Ostrom, CroydonEvery single day, trains are cancelled or delayed, for months on end. This company is a joke. East Croydon to Victoria.
Roger Carvell, HitchinThe privatisation of the UK’s railways has been a disaster. We pay more than ever in taxes to support private shareholders.
Cliff Blackwell, IlfordAs a serving freight train driver, I see every day the enormous amount of problems with the running of the system. We need one organisation to run it – British Rail.
Andrea Knight, BrightonMy dad was a train driver all his life before he died in 1987. He would hate the state of the privatised rail system if he could see it.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
