Terry Hanley, St HelensI used to be a footplate staff on the BR, and it worked like clockwork. Stationmasters made sure we were on time.
Steve Gordon, BedfordPrivatisation is only good for profit-making and nothing to do with customers. First Capital Connect are atrocious and have done nothing for rail travel.
Ruth Bennett, LondonAn affordable and reliable service, not for private profit.
Julia Parsons, LondonNationalise railway, water and fuel.
Mark Murphy, Ebbw ValeBring back in public hands, but run as a company with the government as the only shareholder. This will cut waste like non-jobs we see in the NHS.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
