Enough of this franchise nonsense – just bring BR back.
Carole Harrison, RedcarThe price of rail travel in this country is absolutely scandalous – a disgrace. It’s time to re-nationalise and become reasonably priced.
Tim Larkin, Grange Over SandsBR was far superior to the current system of a plethora of companies, with different pricing schemes. It’s difficult to know where you stand.
Enrico Policardo, LondonThe longer this goes on, the harder it will be for people in this country. We want a functional and fair railway system like the rest of Europe.
Paul Miller, IlkestonGet this cash cow for the rich and greedy back to the people who use it.
Roy Eyley, FarnsfieldAbout time too.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
