Bring back the people’s railway.
It should never have been privatised, like all other public services – Water, Gas, Electricity, which were all sold to foreigners who made a fortune off the backs of British people.
We need a railway system that works for the users not the shareholders.
I am tired of paying a fortune for a train that doesn’t have enough carriages to allow passengers a seat, that’s often late, causing it to terminate at an early station.
Too much inefficiency, too much fragmentation, and too many rail operating companies making huge amounts of profit from rail franchises.

Privatizing has buggered up the electricity industry, the gas industry, the water industry and the waste disposal industry too. Some things should be considered a service and run to provide just that at an economic cost not a way of milking the end users.
Has the government's decarbonisation policy hit fever point?
but as it doesn't affect them, they don't care
