Privatisation and profit before passengers is wrong.
Ann Williams, LondonCome back, British Rail. All is forgiven.
Hugh Butcher, TadcasterI travel the rails a lot. East Coast mainline is by far the best in terms of service, ticket price, and customer care. It is owned by us and makes a surplus for us.
Paul Lydiate, LondonThe privatised network is a far bigger drain on the public purse than British Rail ever was. The privatised network makes no economic sense.
Jillian Currey, YorkA worthy cause.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
