The Rail network should never have been privatised. It was politically motivated and has been a massive failure.

Margaret McFadyen, NorwichToo right. Fragmentation of the railways to private companies is a total mess. Train travel is more expensive, more stressful and a lot worse than it used to be.
Andrew Bosmans, DoncasterAbsolutely brilliant campaign, but get the old logo the correct way round please.
Mark Williams, Alderley EdgeIt should never have been privatised.
Emma Park, EdinburghCurrently it is cheaper for me to drive any of the routes I take with only one passenger. Environmentally and economically disastrous. Less profit more provision.
Anne Vivian-Smith, NottinghamIt’s time to stop rewarding shareholders for underfunding our transport.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
