Jon Bauckham, BristolIf I
Neil Dilworth, PrestonJust look at Berlin at least. It shouldn’t be such a struggle to travel around the country and that value for our input shouldn’t be negotiable.
Carolyn Waters, Newcastle-upon-TyneTransport is an essential service and should be nationalised, not having to make profits for shareholders. The present system is far too complicated and fragmented.
Linda Poulter, LeedsThe railways should be owned by us and any profits reinvested into upgrading the system.
Tony Gale, DerbyRail prices are going sky-high and the service isn’t improving one bit. Privatisation hasn’t worked. Profit shouldn’t be the main motivator in providing a public service.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
