The railways should never have left public ownership.
The public railways should never have been sold off. It equates to theft from the public, asset stripping to support the profligacy of the Right.
Privatisation has failed both the passenger and our Country – all in the name of political dogma. The East Coast line is a symbol of this.
A nationalised railway system would put people before profits.
Restore to the public what was so cynically taken from them. Public services and utilities should be run for the common good, not for private profit.

Privatizing has buggered up the electricity industry, the gas industry, the water industry and the waste disposal industry too. Some things should be considered a service and run to provide just that at an economic cost not a way of milking the end users.
