Dawn Curtis, LiskeardAs a regular user of British railways and a British citizen I want British Rail to belong to the great British public.
John Briddon, SheffieldThe Rail Network should be British, run by an efficient British management such as that controlling the profitable East Coast line.
Alastair BailyPrivatisation has meant massive increased expense to taxpayers and has also pushed up the cost of tickets.
Daniel Wright, SouthamptonTrains are a disgrace. The timetable is never kept, and the network is a shambles.
Gary Hale, EveshamI work for one of the unpopular train companies operating in the UK, and the vast majority of frontline staff want BR to return. Obviously upper management don’t.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.

We welcome West Midlands Railway being brought back into public ownership today ๐ฅณ But, if control over these lines is devolved to the Mayor of the West Midlands in the future, there is nothing in the current #RailwaysBill to prevent re-privatisation ๐จ Heidi Alexander for Swindon South and Keir Mather MP must sort this! @top fans ...
