End the privatisation disaster.
Lynn Dorling, Edingley, NewarkThe best rail service at the moment is East Coast. Cheerful, efficient service, usually on time, makes a healthy profit. De-privatise the rest but keep the efficiencies.
Mary Pipkin, Connah’s QuayWe need our British rail – for all the people.
Susan Black, YorkPlease respect what the ordinary rail-using public are saying.
Shirley Smith, RickmansworthI support commuters with the overpriced unfair costs of rail travel.
Andrew Hall, YorkThe current set-up is not sustainable. Only a country can run its infrastructure – and a country wouldn’t spend billions on the old technology of HS2.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
