Privatisation has worked for the few and not the many, the service is getting worse and costing more to pay dividends. End it, give us BR back now.

Iain Woolnough, South OckendonAs I work for Network Rail I see how it is working on a day-to-day basis and unless we bring it back under British Rail I foresee major problems and major accidents.

Brian RacherIn an ideal world we would have an integrated transport system. Simple, straightforward and easy to reach your destination.
John Webster, BalernoOur fragmented rail system is ludicrously expensive to run and with so many parties involved, only interested in profit, strategic planning is well nigh impossible.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
